Astérix - La Fille de Vercingétorix - n°38

A mysterious teenage girl arrives in the dead of night, escorted by two Arverni chiefs. She is Adrenaline, the daughter of the vanquished Gaulish chieftain Vercingetorix, and she is being hunted by the Romans. Entrusted to the care of the indomitable Gauls, Asterix and Obelix are tasked with protecting this rebellious and spirited teenager, a symbol of hope for all of Gaul. But protecting a teenager who has her own ideas about freedom is more complicated than fighting legions of Romans.

As Julius Caesar dispatches his best trackers to capture the fugitive, the famous Gaulish village becomes the center of a chase that will test the bonds of friendship and the meaning of resistance. The story introduces a generational clash, pitting the anxieties of the village elders against the fiery independence of its young charge. It explores themes of legacy and defiance through a fast-paced adventure full of the series' classic humor, memorable new characters, and unexpected twists.
