Blood Promise

A promise is a promise, especially when it is sealed in love and the understanding of a dark fate. For Rose Hathaway, that vow means leaving everything she knows behind, including her best friend Lissa. She must journey to the far reaches of the earth to find the one person she loves most, Dimitri Belikov. But this is no rescue mission. Dimitri was turned into a Strigoi, the soulless, undead vampires they have been trained to hunt, and Rose must now track him down to fulfill the promise he begged her to make: to kill him rather than let him exist as a monster.

Venturing alone into Dimitri's homeland of Russia, Rose is forced to navigate a dangerous world for which her training never fully prepared her. As she hunts for the man she loves, she is haunted by the memories of the guardian he once was and tormented by the possibility that he may not want to be saved. This journey will test her strength, her resolve, and her heart, forcing her to choose between honoring her vow to Lissa and keeping the deadliest promise of all.
