Blue Moon

The air around Ever hums with a newfound energy, a deepening resonance of her immortal abilities. She finds herself manifesting objects with a thought, moving things with her mind – powers blossoming under Damen's patient guidance. Yet, as her own strength grows, a chilling shadow falls over her beloved. Damen, her eternal love, begins to fade, his vitality leaching away, his memory slipping like sand through an hourglass. He is struck by a mysterious illness, his once vibrant presence dimming, threatening to erase not only his identity but his very existence.

A new face appears at Bay View High, a handsome British transfer student named Roman. He possesses a charm that quickly captivates the entire school, weaving himself into the social fabric with effortless grace. Everyone, it seems, falls under his spell, from the popular crowd to Ever's outcast friends, who suddenly find themselves mingling freely. But Ever, with her heightened senses, feels an immediate, unsettling distrust. There's something off about him, a subtle discord in his seemingly perfect facade that whispers of danger.

As Damen's condition worsens, his memories of Ever and their shared past as immortals begin to unravel. He starts to view her as an obsessed ex-girlfriend, a stranger, a cruel twist of fate that leaves Ever heartbroken and alone in her understanding of their profound connection. The world around her seems to shift, her friends acting strangely, the familiar order of things dissolving. With Damen slipping away and no one else to turn to, Ever seeks out Ava, the only one she knows who might possess answers.

Driven by desperation, Ever journeys to the mystical dimension of Summerland, a shimmering realm of pulsating trees and shivering flowers. There, she encounters the enigmatic twin sisters, Romy and Rayne, who guide her to the Great Halls of Learning. Within these ancient halls, Ever uncovers the brutal, tortured secrets of Damen's past, a history he had desperately tried to shield her from. More critically, she finds an ancient text, a tome that reveals the intricate workings of time itself.

The revelation of time travel presents Ever with an agonizing choice. A blue moon is approaching, a rare celestial event that heralds her only window to manipulate the past. She could journey back, prevent the catastrophic accident that claimed her family's lives, and bring them back into her world. But to do so would mean sacrificing Damen, who grows weaker with each passing day in the present. The weight of this decision, between her lost family and the love that transcends lifetimes, presses down on her.

Ever learns the truth about Roman: he is a rogue immortal, and he is poisoning Damen. His motive, she discovers, is revenge for Damen having killed Drina. Armed with this knowledge, Ever confronts Roman, revealing that it was she, not Damen, who was responsible for Drina's demise. Roman, his vengeful heart momentarily swayed, offers Ever an "antidote." She adds her own blood to the concoction, breaks a protective circle around Damen, and administers it to him.

Yet, Roman's intentions prove to be far more sinister. The "antidote" is not what it seems. While Damen is saved from the immediate illness, Roman's true plan unfolds: the potion he designed ensures that Ever and Damen can never swap DNA, effectively trapping them in a cycle where true immortality, and perhaps true unity, remains just out of reach. The battle for Damen's life is won, but the cost, and the lingering threat of Roman's deception, casts a long shadow over their future.
