Caught Up

The shy, bookish girl Nico 'Junior' Trocci pushed away in high school is gone. When violence-raised Junior finally looks up Lauren Marchetti, he finds a confident woman posting scantily clad photos online and co-owning Velvet, a members-only play club where desire is out in the open. Watching from behind a screen quickly stops being enough, so he joins the club masked and lets flirty messages turn into something hotter and more intimate. Lauren craves the dark attention of the stranger who keeps appearing where she plays, even as she senses he is dangerous to want. He tells himself men like him do not get women like her, yet every look pulls him closer to taking what he swore to leave alone.
