Clockwork Princess (Infernal Devices)

A net of shadows tightens around the Shadowhunters of Victorian London as the final pieces of a diabolical plan fall into place. Mortmain is ready to unleash his army of pitiless automatons, the Infernal Devices, to eradicate the demon-hunters once and for all. To complete his vengeful mission, he needs only one last thing: Tessa Gray. As the head of the London Institute, Charlotte Branwell, desperately tries to find Mortmain before he strikes, he succeeds in abducting Tessa, leaving those who love her in turmoil.

The two young men who lay equal claim to Tessa's heart, Jem Carstairs and Will Herondale, will do anything to save her. But Jem's devastating illness is worsening, and Will is wrestling with his own secrets and curses. Trapped and facing an impossible choice, Tessa realizes that the only person who can save her is herself. To stand against an entire army, she must unlock the final secrets of her own identity and command a power she never knew she possessed, even if it means destroying everything she loves.
