Confianza ciega

When her mother Maeve vanishes, architecture student Sloane Connolly isn't surprised. Disappearing without a trace is one of her mother's habits. But this time is different. A cryptic package arrives containing cash, a handgun, and a terrifyingly simple note: Sell everything. Keep the gun. Practice. Run. Now. As Sloane grapples with these instructions, she receives a strange and irresistible job offer from a mysterious employer to design a memorial honoring six people who all died in unusual circumstances.

The project requires Sloane to delve into the lives of the deceased, a task that becomes more unsettling with each secret she uncovers. As she pieces together the stories of the six, she is pulled into a labyrinth of danger where the lines blur between coincidence and conspiracy. Sloane must determine who she can trust and what connects her mother's disappearance to this sinister commission before she becomes the next person to need a memorial.
