CookSafe Food Safety Assurance System, Update February 2009

The CookSafe Food Safety Assurance System provides comprehensive guidance for catering businesses in Scotland to establish and maintain food safety management procedures. Developed by the Food Standards Agency, the Scottish Food Enforcement Liaison Committee, and the Scottish HACCP Working Group, this system is designed to help businesses comply with legal requirements for food safety, which mandate the application of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point principles.
