Corrupt (Devil's Night, 1)

For years, Erika “Rika” Fane has been haunted by Michael Crist, her ex-boyfriend's older brother. He's the handsome, terrifying leader of the “Four Horsemen,” a group of wealthy and reckless young men who rule their town. Rika has always watched him from the shadows, aware of the darkness he hides. But a single event on Devil's Night three years ago changed everything, sending Michael's friends to prison and leaving him with a thirst for vengeance. He believes Rika is to blame, and he has been patiently waiting for his chance to make her pay.

Now, Rika is in college, alone and unprotected in Michael's city. The opportunity for revenge is too perfect to ignore, and Michael and his newly freed friends are ready to turn her nightmares into reality. They draw her into a twisted game of cat and mouse, a psychological battle where fear and attraction become indistinguishable. As the lines blur and long-hidden secrets begin to surface, Rika must confront the dangerous obsession that binds her to Michael. This story explores the complex depths of power, desire, and retribution, questioning what happens when the object of your terror is also the focus of your desire.
