Dead But Not Forgotten The True Story of a Cheating Husband, His Stunning Mistress, and a Murder Case Gone Cold

In 1990, the quiet suburban life of Barbara and Michael George was shattered when Barbara was found dead in their Detroit-area comic book shop, shot through the skull. The initial investigation into the murder of the mother of two stalled, leaving the case to grow cold. Eighteen years later, a fresh look at the evidence led to the arrest of Michael George, Barbara's husband, who had been having a clandestine affair with an employee, Renee Kotula.

The book delves into the details of the couple's life, the illicit relationship, and the painstaking process that eventually brought Michael to trial. A jury found him guilty, but the presiding judge controversially overturned the verdict. This unexpected turn left many questioning the pursuit of justice for Barbara George. The narrative explores the complexities of a case where truth remains elusive, compelling readers to consider whether justice will ever be truly served.
