Der Hypnotiseur

In the frigid quiet of Tumba, Sweden, a family is brutally murdered, leaving only a teenage son, Josef, alive but critically wounded and in shock. Detective Inspector Joona Linna of the National Crime Unit is desperate for answers, believing a missing older sister may also be in grave danger. With Josef unable to speak, Linna turns to the controversial psychiatrist Erik Maria Bark, a hypnotist who has sworn never to practice his craft again after a devastating past incident.

As Bark reluctantly breaks his vow and delves into Josef's shattered memories, the hypnosis unlocks not just the secrets of the gruesome crime, but also a terrifying chain of events that reaches far beyond the initial investigation. This decision forces Bark to confront his own shadowed past, ultimately putting his family in immediate peril and drawing them into a complex web of deceit and psychological terror.
