Double Cross (Alex Cross)

As Washington D.C. is gripped by a series of meticulously staged, theatrical murders, former FBI profiler Alex Cross finds his quiet life as a private psychiatrist shattered. The killer, dubbed the "Audience Killer," craves the spotlight, transforming victims into public spectacles and broadcasting their gruesome finales for all to see. Drawn back into the fray by his girlfriend, Detective Brianna Stone, Cross quickly realizes this is no ordinary case.

The investigation takes a deeply personal turn with the shocking escape of Kyle Craig, known as the Mastermind, a brilliant and ruthless killer from Cross's past who has sworn revenge. With two criminal masterminds at play, one obsessed with fame and the other with vengeance, Cross must navigate a web of deception that threatens not only the city but also those closest to him. The stakes escalate as Cross confronts the possibility that these two forces of terror might be intertwined, pushing him into a dangerous battle where the lines between hunter and hunted blur.
