The night Jacks, the Prince of Hearts, took away her grief, their blood ritual was more than a simple exchange - it was an immortal wedding ceremony. She observes her mother in the past, stealing a dress and a piece of her essence to become the one woman the Fallen Star ever loved: Paradise the Lost.

Scarlett's performance in the throne room is flawless. Dressed as Paradise, she confronts the Fallen Star, who believes his lost love has been brought back to him. But when Tella appears, calling her “Mother,” his rage erupts. Scarlett shoves her sister aside, taking the brunt of his fiery power.
