GIRL, FORGOTTEN

Longbill Beach, 1982. Emily Vaughn prepares for prom night, a pinnacle of high school life, but she carries a secret that will lead to her death by the evening's end. Her murder remains unsolved for forty years, the community closing ranks around the lingering mystery.

Now, newly minted US Marshal Andrea Oliver arrives in town on her first assignment: to protect a federal judge receiving death threats. This official duty, however, serves as a cover for Andrea's true mission: to uncover the truth behind Emily's forgotten case, a cold murder with unsettling ties to her own past and her imprisoned father. As Andrea delves into the town's buried secrets, she must confront the possibility that the killer is still present and willing to silence anyone who gets too close to the truth.
