Global

Across two different continents, two young lives are irrevocably shaped by the escalating realities of climate change. Sami, a boy living in a fishing village along the Bay of Bengal, faces a daily struggle against rising ocean levels and dwindling catches, as cyclones threaten his home and livelihood. Thousands of miles away in the Canadian Arctic, Yuki, an Inuit girl, witnesses her frozen world melt, forcing polar bears into desperate searches for food and altering the delicate balance of her environment.

This graphic novel, illustrated by Giovanni Rigano, intricately weaves their parallel journeys of survival and courage, highlighting the personal impact of global warming and the resilience of those directly affected. "Global" offers a timely and powerful narrative that underscores the interconnectedness of our planet and the urgent need to understand the human stories behind environmental shifts.
