Good Bad Girl

A baby vanishes from a stroller on Mother's Day, an event that casts a long shadow over twenty years. Decades later, a murder in a care home draws a detective into a web of secrets and missing daughters, suggesting a connection between the two seemingly disparate crimes.

Within this unfolding mystery are Edith, an octogenarian resident of the care home determined to escape; Patience, a young worker there harboring her own deceptions; and Clio, Edith's estranged daughter, a therapist with a complicated past. As these women's lives intertwine, each holding pieces of a larger puzzle, the narrative explores the complexities of family, the weight of hidden truths, and the notion that sometimes, good people are driven to do bad things. This intricate thriller invites readers to uncover what truly happened to the missing baby and the mother who lost her, and to understand the bonds that connect them all.
