Tyson Parks, a once-celebrated horror writer, finds his career in decline, his inspiration gone, and his 59th birthday marking a new low. A desperate chance for revival arrives in the form of an antique desk, a gift from his girlfriend. As Tyson begins to write at the ornate piece of furniture, his creative block shatters, and a torrent of dark, compelling prose flows from his fingertips, promising a return to his former glory and beyond.

Yet, this newfound muse comes with a sinister cost. The desk, an ancient occult artifact, begins to exert a terrifying influence, transforming Tyson and his writing in disturbing ways. As his success grows, so does the malevolent power emanating from his new companion, threatening to consume him and everyone he holds dear. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman with a centuries-old connection to the artifact closes in, determined to reclaim the desk and contain the darkness it unleashes.
