Isola

A severed arm lies in the frost on a Copenhagen playground, and detective Anette Werner has no body to match it to. Far from the city, her former partner Jeppe Kørner is spending the winter on the windswept island of Bornholm, on leave from the force and trying to mend a broken heart with quiet work at the local sawmill. But the island keeps its own cold counsel, and when Anette's trail of strange clues points across the water to Bornholm, she asks Jeppe to take a simple look around. What looks like refuge starts to feel like a hiding place, and to find the truth the two of them must dig into secrets someone has kept buried for years.
