Jingo

A newly risen island in the Circle Sea ignites a powder keg of international tension, as both Ankh-Morpork and the distant empire of Klatch lay claim to its strategic location. This sudden reappearance from beneath the waves threatens to plunge the Discworld into an unprecedented war.

Commander Samuel Vimes of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch views the escalating conflict not as an act of statecraft, but as a colossal crime. As jingoism and xenophobia ignite the populace, Vimes and his dedicated Watch navigate a labyrinth of political machinations, suspicious incidents, and the absurdities of military ambition, striving to uphold the peace before the world descends into chaos.
