L'Empire ultime

For a thousand years, the world has been ruled by the immortal Lord Ruler, a tyrant presiding over a land where ash falls from the sky and terrifying mists cloak the night. The skaa, the majority of the population, are brutally enslaved, living in constant fear and misery with no memory of hope. But when a charismatic thief named Kelsier survives the Lord Ruler's most brutal prison, he discovers he has the powers of a Mistborn, an individual who can gain superhuman abilities by ingesting and "burning" metals. Kelsier decides to use his newfound power for an impossible task: to overthrow the Final Empire.

Kelsier gathers a crew of the underworld's most skilled specialists, each with a unique metallic power, to pull off the ultimate heist. Their target is the Lord Ruler himself, and their goal is not just riches, but the downfall of a divine despot. The plan seems destined to fail until they find Vin, a wary street urchin who possesses the same rare and powerful abilities as Kelsier. As she learns to trust others and master her powers, she becomes the crew's key to infiltrating the corrupt nobility. This is a story that combines the intricate planning of a heist with a rebellion against an oppressive regime, exploring what happens when the prophesied hero fails and ordinary people must find the courage to fight for their own freedom.
