La ville sans vent

In the city of Hyperborée, a place powered by a fusion of magic and mechanics, nineteen-year-old Lastyanax is on the cusp of his career as a mage. He expects a slow climb through the ranks of power, but when his mentor is murdered, he is unexpectedly thrust into the highest levels of government. Now a minister in a city riddled with political traps, Lastyanax is driven by a single goal: to find the assassin. His investigation is complicated by the arrival of Arka, a young and reckless warrior with a mysterious past who is on a quest of her own to find the father she has never known.

While Lastyanax has a future to protect and Arka is haunted by a past she doesn't understand, their separate missions quickly become entangled. They must learn to trust one another to navigate the city's rigid hierarchies and expose the conspiracies threatening to bring Hyperborée to its knees. As deaths mount and danger lurks in every shadow, their unlikely alliance becomes the only thing that might unravel the secrets woven into the very foundations of the city without wind.
