LE CIEL CA EXISTE POUR DE VRAI

When four-year-old Colton Burpo survived an emergency appendectomy, his family was overjoyed by his miraculous recovery. What they were not expecting, however, was the story that emerged in the months that followed. Colton began to speak with disarming innocence of leaving his body during the surgery and visiting heaven. He recounted meeting a sister his parents had lost through miscarriage and a great-grandfather who died thirty years before he was born. The details he shared were things a young child could not know, and his descriptions of Jesus, God, and the angels were consistent with scripture he had not yet read.

Told from the perspective of Colton's father, a small-town pastor, this is the story of a family's journey to understand their son's extraordinary experience. It chronicles the initial private moments of revelation and the slow realization that their son's account offered a glimpse into the afterlife. For anyone who wonders about heaven, this account provides a story of hope and the chance to see the world through the simple, unwavering faith of a child.
