Los 7 Hábitos de los Adolescentes Altamente Efectivos

Many readers praise this book as a highly insightful and practical guide for young people. Reviewers frequently highlight its ability to provide clarity on personal standing in life, offer reasons for an organized existence, and inspire positive habits. The book is lauded for its helpful, step-by-step approach to navigating common teenage challenges such as time management, self-doubt, bullying, and general negativity. Its engaging format, featuring relevant quotes, comic strips, and personal stories, makes the advice accessible and enjoyable, often not feeling like traditional schoolwork. Many found it an effective resource for improving social and academic life, fostering self-development, and building essential executive skills and emotional resilience. It is particularly noted for simplifying complex concepts from its adult counterpart, making it an excellent blueprint for personal growth and success.

Despite widespread acclaim, some readers expressed reservations or found the book less impactful. A recurring criticism from older or more experienced readers is that some of the solutions presented can be simplistic or overly optimistic, potentially not applicable to all complex problems. One reviewer found the author's perspective somewhat conservative, particularly regarding mentions of prayer. For some, the advice felt generic or even useless, especially for those who did not feel a personal need for it or found it boring to skim. A significant negative experience arose when the book was made mandatory curriculum, with one reader with undiagnosed ADHD finding many habits unhelpful and the assignments impossible to complete, suggesting the approach does not work for everyone. Others mentioned that the workbook alone might not be sufficient, requiring engagement with the main book, and some felt it was not as strong as an updated edition.

Overall, the book is widely regarded as a valuable and transformative resource for its intended audience. It is highly recommended for teenagers, high schoolers, and young adults seeking guidance on self-improvement, personal effectiveness, and navigating the complexities of adolescence. It is particularly beneficial for those struggling with self-esteem, personal issues, or difficult times, offering practical strategies to foster a positive mindset, build healthy habits, and develop crucial life skills. Educators and adults working with teens also find it an excellent tool for classroom use and teaching social-emotional intelligence. While some may find aspects of its advice simplistic or its approach not universally applicable, the overwhelming consensus is that this book serves as an inspiring and actionable guide for young people aspiring to a more successful and fulfilling life.
