Split Decision Life Stories

Award-winning actor, rapper, and producer Ice-T shares the compelling story of his early life, revealing a past spent robbing jewelry stores. This memoir, co-written with his former crime partner Spike and New York Times bestselling author Douglas Century, details how a series of choices led to two starkly different destinies.

Both Ice-T and Spike grew up in violent Los Angeles neighborhoods and collaborated on jewelry heists. While Ice-T transitioned from a life of crime to a celebrated career in music and television, Spike's decisions led him to a thirty-five-year to life prison sentence. "Split Decision" explores how such divergent paths emerged from a shared beginning, offering a reflection on the profound impact of individual choices.
