The Walking Dead Vol. 1 Days Gone Bye

An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months, society has crumbled. For police officer Rick Grimes, the world he knew is gone. He awakens from a coma to find himself alone in a deserted hospital, the sole survivor in a world of the dead. With no government, no grocery stores, and no semblance of civilization, he must navigate a terrifying new reality.

His only goal is to find his family. Separated by the chaos, Rick's journey takes him through the ruins of civilization, where he discovers that the overwhelming threat of the undead is matched by the desperation of the living. This is not just a story about flesh-eating zombies; it is an exploration of what it means to survive when the world ends, forcing a confrontation with the fundamental nature of humanity. The story delves into how people change when faced with extreme situations and the difficult choices they must make to stay alive.
