Us Against You

In the aftermath of a traumatic event that fractured their community, the residents of Beartown are struggling to pick up the pieces. Their beloved hockey team, the very heart of their small, isolated town, is on the verge of collapse as funding is pulled and their best players defect to the team in the neighboring town of Hed. The rivalry between the two towns has always been fierce, but now, fueled by economic desperation and lingering bitterness, it is escalating into a battle for survival. Every loyalty is tested, and every resident is forced to choose a side.

As a manipulative local politician sees an opportunity for power and a new coach arrives with the impossible task of rebuilding a team from scratch, the tension between Beartown and Hed grows more dangerous. What begins with pranks and threats soon spirals into something much darker, moving beyond the ice rink to consume the lives of everyone involved. This is a story about the complexities of community, the weight of secrets, and the staggering human cost of an us-against-you mentality, culminating in a final game where more than just a championship is on the line.
