Witches of Brooklyn

Effie's world is turned upside down when she finds herself living with her eccentric aunts, Selimene and Carlota, in a quirky Brooklyn brownstone after her mother's passing. These aren't just any aunts; they run a shop dealing in tinctures and remedies, and Effie soon discovers their unusual habits are rooted in something far more extraordinary: they are witches. When Effie begins to experience strange glowing fingers and toes, she realizes magic might run in her own family too.

This graphic novel invites readers into Effie's journey as she navigates new friendships, the challenges of middle school, and the bewildering, yet exciting, reality of her burgeoning magical abilities. As she learns to harness her powers and embrace her true self, Effie discovers the strength of found family and the importance of community, all while helping her aunts solve a magical mystery involving a pop star.
