The most popular French action thriller books

Action thrillers move fast and rarely stop. A lone operative, a soldier or an ordinary person in the wrong place has hours to stop a disaster, and the story runs on chases, fights and narrow escapes. These are books you read in a sitting or two, often as part of a long series. Only books in French are listed.
