The most popular French cosmic horror books

Cosmic horror is about how small we are. Its characters brush against vast, ancient forces that do not hate humanity so much as fail to notice it, and what they learn costs them their peace or their sanity. Expect forbidden books, strange cults, impossible geometry and an ending that offers little comfort. Only books in French are listed.
