The most popular French crime thriller books

Crime thrillers are about criminals and the people who hunt them. Gangs, heists, serial killers and undercover work drive these books, and the tension matters more than the puzzle. You often know who did it, and the question is whether they will be stopped. Expect pace, grit and high stakes. Only books in French are listed.
