Free epic fantasy books

Epic fantasy tells big stories in invented worlds. Expect maps, long journeys, warring kingdoms, ancient prophecies and a cast large enough to need a list at the back. These are books to sink into, often across a whole series, where the fate of a realm hangs on a few unlikely heroes. This list shows the ones you can read in full for free.
