Her life of quiet vengeance shatters with the arrival of F'lar, a bronze dragonrider from the last active Weyr, Benden. He has come on a desperate "Weyr Search," seeking a woman with the rare telepathic strength to Impression the last golden queen dragon, soon to hatch.
