Hexen Hexen

This is not a fairytale. This is about real witches. They live in a world where secret societies of child-hating demons disguise themselves as ordinary women, and the only person who seems to know the truth is one boy's wonderful Norwegian grandmother. After the death of his parents, the boy is taken under her care, where he is enthralled by her terrifying stories and taught how to recognize these monstrous creatures who could be living right next door.

While staying at a seaside hotel in England, he accidentally stumbles upon a secret convention of witches. Hidden from view, he overhears the Grand High Witch herself unveil a diabolical plan to rid the entire country of its children. Suddenly, the stories are all too real, and he is the only one who knows their ghastly secret. This discovery sets the stage for a confrontation between the most powerful witch in the world and one very small, but very brave, boy. The story explores the hidden dangers children face and celebrates the power of courage and ingenuity against overwhelming evil.
