It Starts with Us

Before it ended, it had to begin. Picking up where the epilogue of the phenomenon "It Ends with Us" left off, this story returns to Lily Bloom as she navigates life after her divorce. She has settled into a civil co-parenting rhythm with her ex-husband Ryle when she unexpectedly runs into Atlas Corrigan, her first love. For the first time, the timing seems to be on their side, and Lily says yes when Atlas asks her on a date, embracing a second chance at the love she has always wanted.

But what follows is more complex than a simple reunion. Told from the alternating perspectives of Lily and Atlas, the narrative delves into Atlas's past while following Lily's journey to heal and build a new life. Her excitement is tempered by the reality that her abusive ex-husband is still a part of her life, and he will not tolerate Atlas's presence. The story explores the challenges of moving on, the courage it takes to break the cycle of abuse, and whether love can truly conquer a complicated past.
