The most common complaints in relationships stem from this forgotten truth. A woman wants empathy, but when she speaks of her problems, her man puts on his “Mr. Fix-It” cap. He thinks she wants solutions. Martians, after all, define themselves by their ability to achieve results; to them, talking about a problem is an invitation for advice.
